I was raised in a storm — with a narcissistic, emotionally abusive father, childhood bullying, and rejection that taught me early on that silence was safer than visibility. I shrunk. I disconnected. I learned to engage with the world only when necessary — work, family gatherings, birthdays… the minimum.

And yet, I always carried so much inside me.
Reflections. Questions. Stories.
Emotions I didn’t have the space or permission to release.

Until now.

💻 From No Internet to Now

I’m not a Gen Z creator or a 20-something influencer.
I’m a midlife woman in my 40s — the last of the generation before the internet.

We didn’t grow up with platforms, filters, followers, or “likes.”
We grew up holding things in. And I did. For decades.

Now, The Curly Commentary is my way of stepping out of that invisibility — embracing community, creativity, and connection through the digital world… for the first time in my life.
